I have a gigantic crush on you but am scared to death to act on it, for a couple of reasons. One is a general fear of rejection thing, which I really really am trying to get over. I don't even know if I'm your type in a general (like, gender) sort of way, let alone anything else. I'm also dating someone who is really into me and who I don't want to lose but is new to poly and sort of distrustful, and would definitely freak if I started seeing someone new, and I wouldn't want to do that to you ("that" being, if you were mutually interested, start seeing you and then end up having to make some big choice here). So...as things stand now, I have no idea what to do.
